The Minds Behind the Mission
The National Citizen Service (NCS) and Goal 17 have come together to unlock the potential of young people by helping them find their voice and their place within their communities. This isn’t just about mentoring—it’s about giving young people the confidence and tools they need to step up and own their future.
NCS has long been at the forefront of youth engagement, giving thousands of young people across the UK the opportunity to broaden their horizons and contribute to society. Their programmes help build self-belief, resilience, and purpose—qualities that are essential for every young person’s success.
Goal 17 brings years of experience in delivering impactful mentoring programmes that support young people to pursue their passions and take charge of their own development. Our focus is on creating supportive, one-on-one relationships that help young people explore their interests, build new skills, and make decisions that are meaningful to them.
Together, we’re creating a space where young people can feel heard, supported, and excited to take action. Through this mentoring programme, young people are encouraged to explore their potential and discover the unique ways they can make a difference—not just for themselves, but for those around them. It’s about having the opportunity to take the lead, pursue a project they believe in, and see firsthand the impact they can create.
