Goal 17 Shortlisted for National Impact Award

Jul 08, 2025

We’re proud to share that Goal 17 has been named a finalist in the 2025 NatWest SE100 Social Business Awards, shortlisted in the prestigious Impact Management Pioneer category.

The SE100 Awards, delivered by Pioneers Post in partnership with NatWest Social & Community Capital, celebrate the UK’s most outstanding social enterprises. With nearly 300 entrants this year, we’re honoured to be recognised among the country’s top-performing purpose-led organisations.

Being shortlisted for the Impact Management Pioneer award reflects our commitment to not just delivering social change—but measuring it meaningfully and using those insights to improve lives. From the way we train and support volunteers, to the design of our programmes and safeguarding systems, we’ve built a culture of learning, feedback, and continuous improvement.

Our patent-pending platform, Wowment, plays a central role in this approach. It enables safe, anonymous communication between mentors and young people via WhatsApp, while also giving us real-time, anonymised engagement data. This has transformed the way we understand and manage impact—moving from retrospective reporting to proactive, real-time support.

This recognition is a reflection of the dedication of our entire team, our inspiring volunteers, and the young people and communities we work alongside. We’re incredibly proud of what we’ve built—and even more excited about what comes next.

The award winners will be announced at the SE100 Awards ceremony in Manchester on 15 July 2025. Whether we win or not, we’re delighted to be part of a movement of social enterprises using business as a force for good.

Thank you to Pioneers Post, NatWest Social & Community Capital, and the SE100 judging panel for this honour.
