The fundraising team are based at our ECHO office in Leominster. This could be a hybrid role.
The role will support our fundraising team in both the office and via outreach work to secure vital funds for the organisation. These are the types of things you might be asked to do whilst volunteering within a project.
• Work with the Fundraising Officers to secure funds for ECHO via grant applications
• Support the programme of fundraising events and activities
• Keep up-to-date and accurate information on supporters and funders, maintaining the records on the ECHO CRM database (Lamplight)
• Determine the needs and requirements of potential donors/funders and using this information, work with the fundraising team to develop and produce successful approaches tailored to their needs.

As this role involves working with vulnerable adults, all our staff and volunteers undergo regular Enhanced DBS checks
What you can expect?
Training and support – All volunteers attend least 4 initial training sessions, taster days and the projects and regular welfare meetings with activity and volunteering co-ordinators. There are yearly training event and social get togethers
Expenses – ECHO will cover your transport for you to be able to attend
Equipment – ECHO will provide any protective equipment that you may need and will be happy to make adjustments to ensure you can access the volunteering opportunity
This role will suit people who either want to work in the voluntary sector and are looking to gain experience or those who have the experience and want to apply their skills in a voluntary role.
