Are you interested in volunteering with families, parents or children – or already volunteering and want to feel more confident in your role?

This free, certificated course is designed to support volunteers working across Family Hubs and family-facing services. It will help you understand how to offer safe, respectful and effective support to families, including parents, young children and those accessing health and wellbeing services.

Developed by Goal 17 in partnership with North Northamptonshire Council, with input and support from the NHS, this course gives you practical insight, confidence and recognition for the vital role volunteers play in family support.

On completion, you’ll receive a certificate recognised by North Northamptonshire Council and Goal 17, with NHS collaboration, which you can use to support your volunteering journey, CV or future opportunities in health and community services.
