Setting up on Wowment
What is Wowment?
Wowment is an online tool that connects mentors and mentees.
It can be used on a mobile, laptop or desktop. If you want you can also download it as an app (although this is not essential).
Through Wowment you can see a profile of your mentoring partner, message them and have voice or video calls with them.
The app keeps a record of all your interactions which is only visible to you and your mentoring partner.
By being part of our programmes you agree to use Wowment.
Why use Wowment?
- It's free and does not use up your minutes or texts on your phone bill.
- Importantly, it allows us to safeguard you and your mentoring partner keeping all your communication secure in one place. There is never a need for you to exchange your phone number or email address.
- It has integrated AI that will help you keep track of your mentoring.
Let's get set up on Wowment together...
(this will only take a couple of minutes)
1) Locate the email from Wowment
It should be in your inbox or worse case in your spam box. If you can't find it then email [email protected] and we can resend it to you.
2) Hit 'Create account'
You can do this from a mobile device or laptop/desktop computer. There is no need to download an app.
3) Set a password
Pick something you can remember. Agree to the terms and privacy notice and then hit 'Set password'
You now have a Wowment Account and can log back in any time! Let's create a profile so you can be matched to a mentor.
4) Add a picture (if you want)
You can upload a picture of yourself or something important to you such as a pet!
If you don't want to add a picture then simply press 'Continue'. You can always come back and add one later.
5) Complete your profile
We want to get to know you a little to help match you to a mentor who shares your interests. Your profile is your chance to tell us a bit about yourself.
What are your interests? Are you at college or do you work? Have you got some ambitions or plans?
You can always come back and edit or add to this later.
6) And finally... tell us if there is anything you are looking for.
For example, would a mentor with a specific career area be helpful to you? Or perhaps a shared interest? Maybe you would prefer a male to a female mentor. Whatever it is, this is your chance to tell us.
You are now all set!
You will now be fully set up on Wowment and ready to be matched to your mentor.
It is that simple.

What happens next
Our team will take the information you have given us and get busy behind the scenes finding you a mentor. Look out in your inbox for an email from Wowment telling you that you have been matched!.
